No. 28 of 1983Dentists (Amendment) Bill, 1983
Public bill · Government · Presented
The Dentists (Amendment) Bill, 1983 would extend the terms of the Dental Board members who were serving when it was passed by two years. Their term would therefore increase from five to seven years. The change would amend the rules set out in the Dentists Act 1928 and keep the existing Board in place for longer, rather than requiring immediate replacement. The Bill passed both Houses of the Oireachtas on 9 November 1983.
