Scientific and Technological Education (Investment) Fund Bill 1997

Would create a Scientific and Technological Education (Investment) Fund, initially providing £250 million in public money over 1998–2000, with additional donations allowed. The fund would support capital projects in science, technology and vocational education, research and development, computer skills, and training for skills in particular demand, with spending subject to oversight and annual reporting.
