Updates the Central Bank’s powers and governance for Ireland’s membership of the European System of Central Banks and the European Central Bank. It makes price stability the Bank’s main objective, gives the Governor responsibility for European functions, enables information-sharing and minimum-reserve rules, and updates arrangements for currency, supervision, audits and accountability.
