No. 36 of 1998

Tribunals of Inquiry (Evidence) (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 1998

Public bill · Private Member · Introduced

The Bill would allow the Government to change the terms of reference of an inquiry tribunal, but only after both Houses of the Oireachtas approve the change. This could not happen if the tribunal believed it would harm the rights of someone who had cooperated with the inquiry or provided information under its original terms.
