Would establish the Irish Sports Council to promote competitive and recreational sport, increase participation, support sporting organisations, encourage fair play and tackle doping. It would give the Council funding and oversight powers, require transparent management and reporting, and allow it to advise the Minister and coordinate national sports strategies.
