Provides a grant covering half the cost of reducing high radon levels in homes, up to £1,000, administered and inspected by the Radiological Protection Institute. It also strengthens radioactive-material licensing, allows fees to be charged and recovered, and creates offences for false applications, breaches of licence conditions or obstruction of inspectors.
