Activity Centres (Young Persons' Water Safety) Bill 1998

The proposal would require centres offering water-based adventure activities to under-18s to obtain licences, meet safety requirements and face inspections by the Health and Safety Authority. It would create a public licence register, allow fees and enforcement regulations, and make breaches or false licence information criminal offences.
