Declaration under Article 29.7 of the Constitution (Extension of Time) Bill 1999
Public bill · Government · Presented
Extends to 24 months the period in which the Government may make a declaration under Article 29.7 of the Constitution, rather than the shorter period normally allowed. It gives the Government more time to make this declaration, which concerns Ireland’s participation in international arrangements.
Formal long title
Bill entitled an Act to provide, in accordance with subsection 5º of section 7 of Article 29 of the Constitution, for a period of time longer than that specified in the said subsection 5º within which the Government may make a declaration under the said section 7
