British-Irish Agreement (Amendment) Bill 1999
Public bill · Government · Presented
Updates the 1999 law on cross-border implementation bodies to include a June 1999 agreement clarifying that “Community Initiatives” includes any successor to the EU-funded PEACE programme. It makes that clarification legally apply to the relevant body’s functions and arrangements, supporting continued funding for peace and reconciliation projects after 1999.
