Licensed Premises (Opening Hours) Bill, 1999

Licensed premises would be allowed to stay open until 12.30 a.m. year-round, extending permitted hours by one hour in summer and 90 minutes in winter. Sunday’s 2–4 p.m. “holy hour” would end, St Patrick’s Day would have normal opening hours, while Christmas Day and Good Friday closures would remain.
