Temporary Holding Fund for Superannuation Liabilities Bill 1999

Creates a temporary fund, controlled by the Minister for Finance, to set aside up to £4.3 billion for future social welfare and public service pensions and other government pension costs. The money must be invested, cannot be withdrawn without approval from the Oireachtas, and will be subject to audited accounts and reporting to both Houses.
