Nítrigin Éireann Teoranta Bill 2000

The measure would allow the Minister for Finance, after consulting the enterprise minister, to pay up to £200 million of Nítrigin Éireann Teoranta’s debts to financial institutions, without seeking repayment from the company. It would fund those payments from the Central Fund, bring these arrangements within the National Treasury Management Agency’s responsibilities, end worker-participation provisions for the company, and repeal the company’s earlier legislation.
