Statute Law (Restatement) Bill 2000

The measure would let the Attorney General publish a single, updated text combining a statute with its amendments, including relevant regulations, to make the law easier to find and understand. The restatement would not change the law, but would serve as evidence of its contents and be laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas before publication.
