The Bill would give the National Stud greater financial and commercial flexibility, raising its share-capital limit from £10 million to £25 million and borrowing limit from £5 million to £20 million. It would also allow the Minister to transfer Stud land to the company, subject to safeguards, and permit subsidiaries, investments, partnerships, joint ventures and tourism activities, with ministerial approval.
