Raises a wide range of social welfare payments from late December 2001 or early January 2002, including unemployment payments, pensions, disability, carer and family benefits. It also increases the Family Income Supplement thresholds, changes PRSI rates and earnings limits, and transfers €635 million from the Social Insurance Fund to the Exchequer.
