Establishes Science Foundation Ireland, an agency of Forfás, to fund and attract world-class research in areas such as information technology and biotechnology, supporting Ireland’s long-term economic and social development. It also updates grant limits for industrial development agencies, sets governance and accountability requirements for the Foundation, and allows staff mobility between related agencies.
