International Development Association (Amendment) Bill 2003
Public bill · Government · Presented
Ireland would be authorised to contribute up to €50 million to the International Development Association’s 13th funding round. The Association provides very low-cost, long-term loans to the world’s poorest countries for projects such as clean water, education, infrastructure and poverty reduction. The payment would count as part of Ireland’s official development assistance and requires an amendment to existing legislation.
Formal long title
Bill entitled an Act to enable additional payments not exceeding in aggregate a specified total amount to be made on behalf of the Government to the International Development Association
