Residential Tenancies (Amendment) Bill 2006

The Bill would give the Private Residential Tenancies Board a role in overseeing apartment management companies and the agents they hire. It would allow the Board to help resolve disputes, promote open tendering when developers appoint agents, and create a code of practice covering issues such as when management fees are collected, funding for major repairs, and information for residents.
