National Oil Reserves Agency Bill 2006

The measure would bring the National Oil Reserves Agency under the Minister’s ownership while allowing it to remain a company responsible for maintaining emergency oil stocks. It would continue funding the agency through a levy on oil sales, require companies to provide information, and strengthen inspections, enforcement and public accountability.
