Industrial Development Bill 2006

The Industrial Development Bill 2006 would allow the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to transfer designated staff from Shannon Development to Forfás, which employed staff working for agencies including Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland and Science Foundation Ireland. Transferred staff would become Forfás employees, while keeping pay, working conditions and pension benefits no less favourable than before; the Bill would also update the rules allowing Forfás to assign staff to those agencies.
