National Development Finance Agency (Amendment) Bill 2006

The measure would give the National Development Finance Agency a legal role in arranging public-private partnership projects for government departments and other public bodies, either as their agent or by arranging contracts that are later transferred to them. It would formally establish its PPP expertise centre, add three board members, introduce governance and conflict-of-interest rules, update which public bodies are covered, and allow project costs to be recovered from the relevant bodies.
