Noise Bill 2006

Would create a clearer system for dealing with harmful or nuisance noise from homes, businesses, barking dogs, intruder alarms and outdoor events. It would allow warning notices, noise-level testing, fixed penalties, and searches or seizure of equipment in serious cases, helping local authorities protect people’s health, property and quality of life.
