Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (Amendment) Bill 2006

The measure would fund the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission for 2007–2009, allowing it to draw up to €393 million for running the Dáil and Seanad. It would also make the Commission responsible for translating Acts between Irish and English, clarify its powers and procedures, permit it to create committees, and update rules on staffing liabilities, financial reporting, official seals and Freedom of Information.
