Biofuels (Blended Motor Fuels) Bill 2007

The Bill would require motor fuels made from mineral oils to contain some biofuel, produced from renewable and biodegradable materials. It would allow the Minister for Finance to set the required proportion by regulation, so the share could be increased over time, and would create offences for breaches.
