Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2007
Public bill · Government · Presented
The measure would confirm the legal status of several health bodies and validate actions they had already taken, while updating their oversight, funding and reporting arrangements. It would also smooth the transition to the new medical-practitioners registration and complaints system, including rules on registration, council membership and unfinished disciplinary cases. In addition, it would allow certain hospital boards to work with private providers and clarify who pays for audits of health-service providers.
