The measure would give legal force to earlier orders establishing local-government bodies and confirm that actions taken by those bodies—including bodies later dissolved—remain valid, while protecting constitutional rights and existing staff pension arrangements. It would also update the Limerick Northside and Southside regeneration agencies’ boundaries, membership and public access to their official maps, helping remove uncertainty about their powers and past decisions.
