Forestry (Amendment) Bill 2009
Public bill · Government · Presented
The Forestry (Amendment) Bill 2009 would increase Coillte’s borrowing limit from about €101.5 million, set in 1988, to €400 million. The extra capacity would support investment in replanting forests, forest infrastructure, machinery and other equipment. It would not directly increase government spending or staffing, although it would allow Coillte to take on more borrowing.
Formal long title
Bill entitled an Act to provide for an increase in the aggregate of the amount of money that Coillte Teoranta may borrow at any one time, to amend the Forestry Act 1988 and to provide for related matters
