Dublin Docklands Development Authority (Amendment) Bill 2009
Public bill · Private Member · Presented
The Bill would bring the Dublin Docklands Development Authority within the Comptroller and Auditor General’s audit system, providing independent scrutiny of its accounts and financial management. Its chief executive would also have to appear before the relevant Oireachtas committee to answer questions about the Authority’s finances, management, effectiveness and efficiency. The aim is to reduce unnecessary risks to taxpayers and ensure that the Docklands regeneration programme is not undermined by poor financial management.
Formal long title
