Electoral (Amendment) Bill 2010

The Electoral (Amendment) Bill 2010 would require a Dáil bye-election to be held within a set period after a sitting TD dies or resigns. Its aim is to prevent a constituency from being left without a TD indefinitely and to ensure that people continue to have representation in the Dáil.
