No. 41 of 2010

Building Control (Amendment) Bill 2010

Public bill · Private Member · Introduced

The Bill would create a new route to registration for people aged 35 or over who had at least seven years’ practical experience doing architect-level work in Ireland, supported by a work portfolio and a sworn declaration. It would also require the registration body to set up a Technical Assessment Board to consider applications from people who do not fit the existing or proposed registration categories, potentially giving experienced practitioners a fairer way to qualify.
