Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Bill 2010

Dissolves the Office of Tobacco Control and transfers most of its tobacco-regulation functions, property, contracts, legal cases, records and staff to the Health Service Executive. It repeals Part 2 of the 2002 Act, while protecting transferred employees’ pay, conditions and pension rights and requiring final accounts and an activity report.
