Twenty-Ninth Amendment of the Constitution (No. 3) Bill 2011

Would have added a new constitutional article allowing laws to provide for adoption where parents had failed in their responsibilities for a legally specified period and adoption was in the child’s best interests. It would also have allowed voluntary placement of any child for adoption and the adoption of any child.
