Foreshore (Amendment) Bill 2011
Public bill · Government · Presented
The Bill would transfer most responsibility for Ireland’s foreshore from the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government. Fisheries harbours, aquaculture and sea-fishing activities would remain with the Agriculture Minister, while existing contracts, legal cases, rules, property and ongoing work would be carried over; no extra public spending is expected.
