NAMA and Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Transparency Bill 2011
Public bill · Private Member · Introduced
The Bill would require NAMA and the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation to publish details of loans, properties and other assets for sale online at least four weeks before accepting offers. The websites would list descriptions, addresses, owners, agents and offers received, and publish the final sale price, helping the public see how taxpayer-backed assets were sold.
Formal long title
Bill entitled an Act to provide that, in the interests of transparency, all relevant details of loans, properties, or other assets offered for sale by or with the approval of NAMA or the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation be available to the public by means of publication on a website
