Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2012
Public bill · Government · Presented
The measure would provide up to €324 million to fund the Houses of the Oireachtas Service for the three years from 1 January 2013, allowing the Commission to retain income it receives rather than return it to the Exchequer. That income would reduce the amount provided by the State and would remain subject to reporting and audit; the measure would also update the presentation of the Service’s accounts to reflect organisational changes.
