Education (Welfare)(Amendment)(No.2) Bill 2012
Public bill · Private Member · Introduced
The proposal would require every recognised school’s board of management to adopt and implement a clear anti-bullying policy covering all forms and motivations of bullying. It would set procedures for handling complaints or reported bullying, require regular communication with parents or guardians, and make school anti-bullying guidelines legally binding through regulations. The Minister for Education would also have to review those guidelines initially and every two years to keep them up to date.
Formal long title
