Entrepreneur Visa Bill 2012

The proposal would create two-year visas for entrepreneurs from outside the European Economic Area, including graduates and executives, subject to investment, financial and business conditions. Applicants would generally need to create five jobs, invest or raise specified amounts, or generate specified revenue in Ireland; visas could be renewed but revoked if these targets were not met. The Industrial Development Authority would recommend applicants, and the Government would report on the scheme’s uptake, locations, businesses and jobs created.
