European Communities (Amendment) Bill 2012
Public bill · Government · Presented
The European Communities (Amendment) Bill 2012 would update Irish law to recognise two EU measures: one dealing with transitional arrangements after the Lisbon Treaty, and another allowing a stability mechanism for countries using the euro. It would do this by amending the European Communities Act 1972, giving these measures effect in Irish domestic law and supporting EU financial-stability arrangements.
