Electoral (Amendment) Bill 2012

Would require Dáil, presidential, local, European Parliament and referendum polls to be held on a Saturday or Sunday, rather than leaving the day unrestricted. It would also update related election deadlines and procedures, with the changes taking effect on dates set by the Minister.
