Autism Bill 2012
Public bill · Private Member · Introduced
The Autism Bill 2012 would require a national strategy to address the specific needs of adults with autism and create a duty to put that strategy into practice. It would also explicitly include autism in the definition of disability under employment and equal-status laws, strengthening protection against discrimination at work and in access to services. Implementation would involve some administrative costs but is intended to use existing resources.
Formal long title
