Parental Leave (Amendment) Bill 2013

The Parental Leave (Amendment) Bill 2013, introduced by Patrick Nulty, would double the parental leave available to eligible employees from 18 to 36 weeks for each child. It would make the same increase to related limits on taking or transferring leave, giving parents more time to care for children while extending the existing parental-leave system.
