European Parliament Elections (Amendment) Bill 2013

Public bill · Government · Presented

The European Parliament Elections (Amendment) Bill 2013 would redraw Ireland’s European Parliament constituencies and set the number of seats in each for elections after 1 January 2014. It would create three constituencies: Dublin with 3 seats, Midlands–North-West with 4, and South with 4, giving Ireland 11 Members of the European Parliament in total. The changes implement the recommendations of the 2013 Constituencies Committee and are not expected to have significant direct costs for the State.

Formal long title
