Would ban under-18s from using, buying or hiring sunbeds, while requiring adult use to be supervised and supported by protective eyewear, health warnings and information. Sunbed businesses would need to meet hygiene and training standards, register with the HSE and face inspections and penalties, helping reduce skin damage, eye injuries, premature ageing and skin-cancer risk.
