Roads Bill 2014

The Roads Bill 2014 would dissolve the Railway Procurement Agency and transfer its functions, staff, assets, contracts and responsibilities to the National Roads Authority, with staff protections preserved. It would also expand the Authority’s role in procuring road services, advising and charging for services, strengthen parliamentary accountability, and update rules on road standards, grants, maintenance and unpaid tolls.
