Charities (Amendment) Bill 2014

The Charities (Amendment) Bill 2014 would bring all remaining provisions of the Charities Act 2009 into force by 31 May 2014, strengthening accountability and protections against abuse and fraud. It would also recognise advancing human rights as a charitable purpose, helping human-rights organisations qualify for charitable status and raise funds.
