Water Services (Amendment) Bill 2014

The Water Services (Amendment) Bill 2014 would require Irish Water’s accounts to be audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General, with the audited accounts then presented to both Houses of the Oireachtas. It would strengthen public oversight of Irish Water’s finances and allow the Minister to make supporting regulations, which could be rejected by either House within 21 sitting days.
