Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Amendment) Bill 2014

Four Seanad seats would be created for graduates of Irish higher-education institutions other than the National University of Ireland and Trinity College Dublin, including graduates of DCU, the University of Limerick, institutes of technology and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. The existing cultural and educational panel would be split to provide four cultural and four educational seats, with eligible graduates voting through registers maintained by the relevant institutions; the existing NUI and Trinity seats would remain unchanged.
