Regulation of Lobbying Bill 2014

The Regulation of Lobbying Bill 2014 would create a public register showing who lobbies ministers, politicians and senior public officials, what issues they raise and on whose behalf. It would require regular disclosures, allow a code of conduct and investigations, penalise non-compliance, and restrict certain former officials from lobbying soon after leaving office to reduce conflicts of interest.
