Intoxicating Liquor (Amendment) Bill 2014

The Intoxicating Liquor (Amendment) Bill 2014 would remove Good Friday from the days on which the sale of alcohol is prohibited. It would also allow licensed premises to sell alcohol on Good Friday during the same permitted hours as other Fridays. The change would end the long-standing ban on alcohol sales that day, while leaving other licensing rules in place.
