Electoral (Amendment) (No. 4) Bill 2014

Allows the Assistant Clerk of the Dáil or Seanad to carry out the relevant election-related duties of the Clerk when that office is vacant or the Clerk cannot act because of illness, absence or another reason. This ensures electoral, referendum and related administrative procedures can continue without interruption.
